Today I head off to Rome for the pilgrimage with Discerning Deacons during the first week of the Synod on Synodality. Thank you SO much to everyone who has helped to make this happen, with your prayers, donations and many other ways that you have provided support. God bless you abundantly!
There is a way that you can join us in spirit and virtually. On Friday, October 4, if you are interested in getting up very early in Australia, you can Zoom in to this St Phoebe Prayer for a Synodal Church, led from our group in Rome. If it is too early for you, no worries! Please keep up the prayers and all the good diaconal ministry that you are involved with.
Join Discerning Deacons for the final St. Phoebe Prayer for a Synodal Church, live from Rome, on Thursday evening Rome time (Friday 4th October 4am AEST). This prayer will be the culmination of two years of praying together as a global community, through the intercession of St. Phoebe the Deacon, for our Church as we have been journeying together in synod. Hosted by members of the Discerning Deacons pilgrimage to Rome, this prayerful gathering will include opportunities for sharing in communities with others from around the world who celebrated St. Phoebe in September, as well as updates from the ground in Rome during the global synod.
