What a rich Feast! Yesterday we celebrated a wonderful webinar that included presentations by Ellie Hidalgo (Discerning Deacons) and Dr Kerrie Hide (Contemplatio); a prayer meditation by Gail Gill; a snapshot of ACED and our past webinars by Deacon Adrian Gomez; the launch of our public document Potential for Women Deacons in the Australian Catholic Churches; reflections about the inspiration of St Phoebe by Joanna Thyer, Deacon Michael Tan, Dominique Galea, Cathy Jones and Deacon John Collins; and we finished with the wonderful song with words and music from Lynn Cooper (Copyright Rev. Thank you for the most inspiring and positive Feast of St Phoebe yet. It gives a lot of hope and calls for more and more lobbying or other practical means. It also calls for more and more positive thoughts, visualizations and prayer. With a new Pope, great things may happen!
